Malaysian home cooking reflects diverse, multi-cultural background of the country. Uniqueness of their food came from a mix-marriage from Malay, Indian, Chinese, Sabahan and Sarawakian flavours.

Born and raised in a small village called Sekinchan, Malaysia surrounded by rice field and coconut trees, passionate home cook Mala Knuutinen Krishnan have travelled this far to establish her own home, now in Finland.

We are lucky to have her running Malesian Keittiö Klubi where she shares her passion for Malaysian food tradition she has come to understood, and tips and techniques she developed to cook her dishes from her roots in new environment.

This cooking class focuses on Malaysian home based family recipes, flavour and ingredients. Whether you are a competent cook or simply want a basic understand of Malaysian ingredients and cooking methods, this is the right place to learn. You will get recipes, step-by-step instructions, cooking tips and techniques. Sign up before 15 March!
