Gardeners, did you start too many seeds this spring? Find yourself with too many plants? Not enough plants? Looking for something unique? Accidentally buy too many seeds? Did you grow something last year and didn’t like it? 

Come to the seedling swap! Bring your seedlings and seeds to trade, give away or buy from others! A seedling swap is a great way to give extra seedlings or seeds to a good home, see what other people are growing, or trade for something special. 

Starting at 1400, the gardeners of Syötävä Puisto will have their working bee, where you can meet the people who cultivate the edible gardens, learn about the no-dig gardening methods used on site, and see what’s growing in the spring. 

No registration required! 

If you just want to browse or see Syötävä Puisto, come as you are! 

If you want to trade or buy, you might want to also bring:

• Seedlings 
• Seeds
• Small amounts of cash or mobile pay 
• A portable table, picnic blanket, box, bag, etc. 
• Hat, sunscreen, water, snacks

By bus:
Bus 16 Rautatientori -Korkeasaari, the last stop Korkeasaari
Metro to Kalasatama – from there by foot (15 min)

By car:
You can park your car at the Mustikkamaan parkkipaikka from where it takes 5 minutes to walk to the Syötävä Puisto

If there’s light rain, the swap will still be on, however, if there’s a thunderstorm or heavy rain we will postpone the event. If the weather is terrible, we’ll post the cancellation on the event page by 10:00 the morning of the swap.
